for those of you who are behind, mahlon and i are moving to sicily, which is the island off the tip of the "toe" of italy. hey, some people don't know!
everyone's asking me what i'll be doing there and honestly, i don't know! i DO know i'll still be doing some broadcasts from overseas. and i want to learn as much of the italian language as i can! other than that i'm not sure. i've found some jobs available and there's a base radio station that takes civilian volunteers. we'll see. i stressed out over it a bunch before i realized, there's nothing i can do about it 'til i get there, so i might as well chill out and look forward to it!!!i can't wait to explore! sicily has so many great things to see, like mt. etna, one of the world's most active volcanos!
we're also planning on visiting my family in calabria! how fun is that??
other than that, i think i'm most excited to see venice. i may even be more excited about venice than i am about all the great food they have there!
